A Day of Giggling at the Langkawi Cable Car...

Ha!  I am gonna start this post with a beautiful bathroom I just had to take a photo of... this bathroom had everything: toilet paper, western toilets, soap and (drum roll please...) even paper towels!!!  This is a rare a much-savored experience in Asia courtesy of the Langkawi Cable Car Park.

Then it was up the gondola to the greatest view in Asia.

(By the way, Malaysia is predominantly Muslin hence the women in head scarves.)

From the gondola...

At the midway point, before taking another gondola to the top...

I was joined by Rayda and two polish guys who were staying at the same hotel.  i love the way that friendships are so easily formed when traveling...

This "skybridge" was an engineering marvel as it only had ONE center pillar suspended between two mountain tops. An amazing feat that was all brought up the mountain by helicopter to preserve the wilderness...

We all had so much fun...  I giggled and laughed for hours on end like I have not done in year.  sometimes, we would just look at each other and giggle for no reason but the sheer delight of wonderful company and an amazing vista.  Joy!

Ha!  And finally, on the way down on the gondola we all thought this was the a hilarious example of Asia:  the safety box for the emergency gondola key with no key inside.  Like a cafe I went to in Thailand that had HUGE signs that said "Chai Tea HERE!!!" and when I went in and ordered they said, "Sorry we don't have Chai Tea."  Ha!  I love this part of the world!!!
